About Catherine

Catherine Wyn-Rogers studied at the Royal College of Music and works with Diane Forlano.

Amongst her many roles, she has sung Erda and Waltraute in Valencia and Florence with Zubin Mehta, appeared at the Lyric Opera of Chicago as Sosostris (The Midsummer Marriage), and made her debut with The Metropolitan Opera as Adelaide (Arabella). Catherine has also performed for the Salzburg, Verbier, Aldeburgh and Enescu festivals, as well as at the Teatro alla Scala Milan, Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North, Semper Oper Dresden, Teatro Real Madrid, Netherlands Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Opéra national de Paris and Glyndebourne Festival Opera.

Recent and upcoming projects include Queen of the Fairies (Iolanthe) for English National Opera, Mother Goose (The Rake’s Progress) for the Grange Festival, Auntie (Peter Grimes) for Opéra national de Paris, the Royal Opera House and for Teatro Real Madrid, Widow Zimmerlein (Die Schweigsame Frau) with the Bayerische Staatsoper, and Lady Blanche (Princess Ida) with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Dream of Gerontius and Dvořák's Stabat Mater for King’s College Cambridge, Haydn’s Theresienmesse with the Handel & Haydn Society in Boston and Messiah with Harry Christophers for The Sixteen.
