About Robert
Robert is the winner of the 2025 Tenor Viñas Competition Domingo Prize.
He made his debut at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence as Andres in performances of Wozzeck with the London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle.
His engagements in the 2024/25 season include Andres Wozzeck and Ferrando Cosi fan tutte for the Opéra national de Lyon, Scaramuccio and Ein Offizier Ariadne auf Naxos for the Opéra de Rouen Normandie, Lensky Eugene Onegin for the Opéra national de Lorraine and Der Bucklige Die Frau ohne Schatten for the Dutch National Opera.
In concert he sings Alfred Die Fledermaus on tour with Les Musiciens du Louvre/Marc Minkowski and Britten's War Requiem with the Tokyo Philharmonic/Jonathan Nott.
Future engagements include returns to the Opéra national de Lyon, the Opéra de Rouen Normandie, the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and his debut for Glyndebourne.
He was a Jerwood Artist at the Glyndebourne Festival and was a member of the Opéra national de Lyon Studio from 2022-2024, appearing in performances of Die Frau ohne Schatten, Adriana Lecouvreur, La fanciulla del West, Věc Makropulos, Béatrice et Bénédict and Mendelssohn's Elijah.
