  • Iolanta (Tchaikovsky)

    Bratislava Music Festival
    Sep 2023
    • [translated from radio broadcast] the part of Iolanta was sung by Russian soprano Evelina Dobračeva with a tender, well shaped voice who moved from the lyrical to more dramatic passages without issues. Very impressive was her first aria 'Atchevo eta prezhde ne znala' but also the duet with her lover Vaudemont played by the Ukrainian tenor Dmytro Popov.

  • Glagolitic Mass (Janáček )

    Prague Sounds International Music Festival
    Sep 2022
    • [Translated] "soprano Evelina Dobračeva completed the feeling that (apart from the singers Beňačková and Hajóssyová) none else sings the Glagolitic Mass so beautifully. Each of them has its place in history. Each of them has the right to use the imaginary crown of this composition. The colour of Dobračeva's voice is exceptional. It is a mature voice, firm and at the same time soft - absolutely suitable for Janáček, I can completely hear it in Wagner and Mahler and in the veristos. The tone leads complete body, she knows exactly what she is doing and how to do it. I haven't experienced such a performance by a soprano in a long time. And in addition, it has a musicality in it that cannot be seen and heard!

  • Glagolitic Mass (Janáček )

    Barbican, London
    Mar 2022
    • The other one of the four soloists who gets a chance to shine, soprano Evelina Dobraceva, was a model of attentive devotion; and what a joy to see the players when not busy at work really enjoying their colleagues' work.

  • Ivan the Terrible (Rimsky-Korsakov)

    Grange Park Opera
    Jun 2021
    • As Olga, the Russian soprano Evelina Dobračeva, now resident in Germany, sang superbly, showing mildness and subservience to the Tsar and father of the Russian people, along with a devotion to her beloved rebel Tucha

  • Symphony no. 8 (Mahler)

    Atlanta Symphony Hall
    Nov 2019
    • The singing is demanding, especially for the soloists... but the guest artists gave superb performances. The women especially sounded dazzling both individually and combined in magnificent duets and trios.
