Hook in Concert

Introduction

Steven Spielberg’s fantasy cult classic celebrates its 35th anniversary with a film-to-concert presentation. A 75-piece orchestra brings John Williams’ critically acclaimed score to life performed in concert with the full film, creating what promises to be an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

Released in 1991, Hook became a global box office success, grossing over $300 million worldwide and earning five Academy Award nominations. Starring Robin Williams as an adult Peter Pan, the film follows his daring return to Neverland to rescue his children from Dustin Hoffman’s Captain Hook, ultimately rediscovering his true self.

Originally envisioned as a musical, the film features the songs, ‘We Don’t Want to Grow Up’ and the Oscar-nominated ‘When You’re Alone’. The score earned two GRAMMY nominations and a BMI Film Music Award, and is considered by many to be one of Williams’ best.
