My Bloody Valentine

Introduction

This one is for the broken-hearted, for the lonely souls that each year have to endure the estrangement of the Valentine’s Day merriment. The selection of music ranges from works by the great masters of Romantic song to well-known jazz masterpieces and atmospheric folksongs, creating a unique and heartfelt tapestry of ethereal melodies about unrequited love, betrayal and the abrupt transformation of transcendent love into all consuming hate.

With My Bloody Valentine, Aphrodite Patoulidou creates an emotionally intense kaleidoscope of atmospheric melodies on one-sided love, betrayal, and the abrupt transformation of transcendental love to ardent hatred.
