[Translated] The other great bass clef role is Vaudémont's companion, Robert, here played by the young Russian baritone Vladislav Chizhov. Through his presence, his stage vivacity and his vocal class, he makes the character a distant cousin of Onegin, a seductive bad boy, certain of what he wants.

[Translated] The Russian baritone Vladislav Chizov stands out in particular by singing in his native language with seductive ardour this dashing role of the young leading man moving forward with the impetuous ardour of the audacious.

[Translated] Particularly noteworthy is Vladislav Chizhov's fine performance, which makes Robert much more than just a conventional lover: with his richly coloured tone, careful articulation and authoritative yet gentle manner, he develops a noble and elegant line that elevates each appearance.

[Translated] Vladislav Chizhov, as Robert, combines noble presence with a dazzling baritone voice, whose confident high notes give the character just the right tension between duty and desire.

[Translated] Vladislav Chizhov's Robert de Bourgogne is beautifully performed, and we appreciate his beautiful, perfectly controlled baritone voice.

[Translated] This potential Lensky has a potential Onegin as a friend! Vladislav Chizhov's Robert combines a carnivorous timbre with the voluptuousness of his phrasing to the point of intoxication.

[Translated] Let us begin by praising the profound Ibn-Hakia of the Mongolian baritone Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar, magnificent in his grand aria, and the Robert of Vladislav Chizhov, with his beautiful middle register.
