About Jasurbek

Uzbekistani bass Jasurbek Khaydarov received his Bachelor’s degree from Gnessin Academy of Music in 2023. In 2022 he joined the Young Opera Artists Program of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

He recently received the Emerging Voice prize at the 22nd Concorso Lirico Internazionale Ottavio Ziino, and the Young Talent prize at the 57th International Vocal competition. Jasurbek also recently made his UK debut at Wigmore Hall in a recital of Russian songs curated by pianist Iain Burnside.

After taking part in the Young Singers Project with Salzburger Festspiele, Jasurbek joins the Dutch National Opera studio for the 24/25 season. He will also make his role and house debut as 'Colline' (La boheme) at the Tiroler Festspiele, Austria as well as 'Imperial Commissioner' (Madama Butterfly) at Baden-Baden Festspielhaus and Berlin Philharmonie under the baton of Kirill Petrenko.

Jasurbek is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands
