Maria was born in Cartagena, Colombia, and began her musical journey as a flutist. She then moved to Germany to pursue a Master’s degree in Music, specialising in flute. She then continued her studies with a Master’s degree in chamber music for harp and flute in Mannheim, Germany. Maria is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Arts Management in Hamburg, and has been focusing professionally on cultural management since 2024. In 2026, she joined the Berlin team at Askonas Holt, combining her musical background with her growing expertise in arts and cultural management. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and dancing.
